LYMPHEDEMA Complete Decongestive Physiotherapy / Manual Lymph
Drainage (CDP/MLD) is used in the treatment of primary
and secondary Lymphedema, and can be enhanced with cleansing herbs, vitamins,
enzymes and natural supplements. Use of natural supplements, however,
while recommended, is not mandatory. It is entirely at the discretion
of the individual. Our center is the only Wholistic Treatment Center for Lymphedema in the United States. Our special protocol for treating Lymphedema can cut treatment time up to 50%. Most treatment periods will last 2 weeks or less, depending upon the condition. Treatment time is greatly influenced by the patient's adherence to our protocol. We teach each patient how to maintain and improve their condition at home after treatment ends. We develop an individualized program of dietary supplements tailored to their needs, and recommend compression garments, (Reid Sleeve, Circ Aid, etc.), as appropriate. Some patients, who followed our program, were able to discontinue bandaging, and wearing compression garments. These results are not promised, however, because each person is different. What is promised is that we will work at finding the best treatment solution for each person to make their home maintenance program as effective and easy as possible. THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE/ PAIN RELIEF Therapeutic massage releases muscle tension, improves circulation, removes toxic wastes, restores mobility, increases range of motion, reduces pain in joints from arthritis, prevents muscle atrophy and improves muscle tone. It also creates a sense of well being, and helps the body to heal itself. We care for your well being!
